JON MORGAN  - Sound Designer

Jon began his professional technical career by spending 4 years as a freelance sound engineer/electrician and for the last four years has been working as senior theatre technician, and following promotion technical manager at The Point in Eastleigh.

His academic training resulted in him achieving a Distinction at HnD level in Professional Sound and Video Technology, and also a level 3 City and Guilds electrical installation and testing certificate.

He has been FOH engineer and production manager for many professional outdoor music festivals and tours with West End stars such as Mike Stirling, Peter Karrie, Jimmy Johnstone, Meredith Braun and Natalie Morgan, also with groups such as Van Morrison, The Stranglers and The Stereophonics.

His more recent work has taken him to a university project run by international critically acclaimed conductor/orchestrator Julian Kelly, along with We Will Rock You and Wicked both currently playing in the West End.
