B&R PRODUCTIONS
Launched by Christine Harmar-Brown and Ian Ross in 1999 B&R Productions collaborates with a range of theatre companies, producers and artists to develop and produce dynamic and engaging performance events. In addition, the company is currently providing consultancy services to a number of theatre companies in the South East Region following relocation to the area. B&R Productions’ previous shows include Barney The Care In The Community Comic, Blame it On My Youth, Blessings, Happy Natives (co-produced with Soho Theatre), 15 Minutes, Goodbye Gilbert Harding and Telstar, all first productions of new work. The Real Thing, by Tom Stoppard, toured nationally in a co-production with Bristol Old Vic and ACT Productions.
In his role as Executive Director of Cambridge Arts Theatre and as Deputy Chief Executive of Norwich Theatre Royal, Ian Ross produced, on their behalf, productions of Wagners Ring Cycle, at Norwich Theatre Royal, bringing The National Theatre of Norway’s production to Norwich as part of the East of England’s Year of Musical Theatre.
In 2005 the company produced the De La Warr Pavillion’s opening Christmas production, a new version of Cinderella.
